PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim will launch a new rubber type production in Year 2020

The rubbers range under the PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim brand will increase in Year 2020. The Company has launched a project for the construction of a divinyl-styrene synthetic rubber production unit with a capacity of 60 thousand tons per year.

Divinyl-styrene synthetic rubber is used in the rubber and footware industries, in the manufacturing of conveyor belts. This type of rubber is used in the production of environmentally friendly "green tires", which have a good wear resistance, a frost resistance and a dynamic strength.

It is also planned to produce thermoplastic elastomers, which are used as additives to the asphalt coat. High mechanical strength and a possibility of their multiple processing without a harm to the environment are the key features of thermoplastic elastomers.

A divinyl-styrene synthetic rubber production unit will be located on the territory of the 1st industrial area. A site was prepared for this production unit, all the preparatory works were completed and at present its construction is underway. External installations are erected, metal structures and process equipment are mounted.

A divinyl-styrene synthetic rubber production unit is constructed using the most modern technologies that comply with international industrial and environmental safety standards.
