Nizhnekamskneftekhim summed up the results of participation in the International Exhibition K-2

Specialists of Nizhnekamskneftekhim has held negotiations with over 100 companies during the 21st international specialized exhibition of plastics and rubber, and the equipment for their processing. The international exhibition K-2019 was held in Germany in Dusseldorf from 16 thru 23 October 2019.

Throughout this period, meetings were held both with partners who are currently using the products of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, as well as with new potential consumers. In addition, the specialists of Nizhnekamskneftekhim found more about the information presented at the stands of exhibitors and the development trends of the global polyolefin industry.

About 3,200 stands from over 50 countries of the world were operating at the K-2019 exhibition, where new industry developments and promising innovations were presented. Experts from many sectors met each other there: such as production of plastics and products, the processing of rubbers and production of rubber, mechanical engineering, packaging, the automotive industry, the chemical industry and many others.
The key topics included as follows: plastics as part of a sustainable development strategy, digitalization and system integration. The main trend in Europe, which is also being implemented in Russia today, is the environment preservation with recycled materials in products, and the plastic packaging use reduction. The idea of ​​a “closed-loop economy” for secondary plastics is becoming one of the strategies for leading global companies.
When studying international experience, the specialists of Nizhnekamskneftekhim paid special attention to solutions in the field of plastics recycling and involving them in a closed processing cycle, as well as the possibility of developing new innovative materials of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
