The managers of TAIF Group and Siemens Energy discussed the progress of construction of a 495 MW CCGT unit at PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the participation of a German company in the implementation of the project for the construction of a new EP-600 ethylene complex in Nizhnekamsk, and the new projects of PJSC Kazanorgsintez and PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim in the video conference mode.
The TAIF Group at the meeting was represented by M. Ruslan Shigabutdinov, General Director of the parent company of the Group - TAIF JSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TAIF JSC, Chief Advisor to the General Director of TAIF JSC for Development, Mr. Albert Shigabutdinov, Deputy General Directors of TAIF JSC, Mr. Ruslan Gizzatullin and Airat Shigabutdinov, as well as Director General of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Mr. Airat Safin, management of PJSC Kazanorgsintez and JSC TGK-16. On behalf of Siemens Energy. The President of the Company, Dr. Christian Bruch, brought together the managers of joint projects with TAIF Group at the videoconferencing.
The parties discussed the pace of implementation of joint projects, the impact on the timing of their implementation had the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection last year.
- A crisis and a pandemic for someone is death, a fall, but for someone it is a time of capacity building and growth. I propose to speed up the work and not to delay the schedules in which there was no room for the coronavirus, - said Mr. Albert Shigabutdinov during the conversation.
Christian Bruch, in turn, emphasized:
- On the part of Siemens Energy, every effort will be made and everything possible will be done to meet the deadlines.
The implementation of one of the projects - the construction of a CCGT-PP at PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim - is being completed in 2021. And this is not only one of the largest energy projects being implemented in Russia today, it is the first EPC contract for the German company in the field of power construction in Russia, where Siemens acted as the General Contractor.
- It is doubly symbolic that the completion of this project takes place in the Year of Russian-German cooperation in the field of economics and sustainable development. I think that this project will be implemented using the best technologies, with the highest quality and on time, said Mr. Ruslan Gizzatullin, Deputy General Director of TAIF JSC for Information Technologies and Power, about one more of its features. Today, the final stage of construction of the CCGT-PP is receiving increased attention from the leadership of both the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia, and Germany.
