For 9 months of 2019, the volume of products transported by the Railways Administration of the (UZHDT) of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim amounted to 4,540,234 tons of cargo, which is 33,643 tons more than the same period last year. The export share reached 58.3%. Services were provided to third parties for 256,626.6 thous.rubles. The increase of the services provision for the reporting period reached 24%.
To date, there are 1285 units of railway wagons in the rolling stock of the Ural Railways. Over 9 months, the depot specialists repaired 991 units of rolling stock, of which planned types of repairs were carried out on a contractual basis to 737 wagons and tanks of other companies amounting to 63,881 thousand rubles.
A lot of work is being done at the Railways Dept. for engaging repair volumes of railway wagons. Negotiations with the owners of rolling stock resulted in execution of 26 new contracts.
In order to increase the capacity of the freight wagon repair depot, it is planned to arrange work by the end of the year on the reformation of the freight car wheelsets at the Wagon Repair Plant JSC (Sterlitamak).
According to the results of the reporting period, Railways Administration of the (UZHDT) of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim ranks 3rd place among 17 enterprises providing services on the Kuibyshev Railway, and 65th place among 219 enterprises in the railway network of Russian Railways in terms of the quality of services rendered.
PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, a member of the TAIF Group of Companies, maintains long-term business relations with the Nikolai Lemaev College of Petrochemicals and Oil Refining. For more than half a century, the educational institution has been training personnel for Nizhnekamskneftekhim and other industrial enterprises of Nizhnekamsk. Students consolidate the knowledge gained during the training in practical training.
Since the beginning of October, 41 future petrochemical technicians, specializing in “Technical Operation and Maintenance of Electrical and Electromechanical Equipment,” arrived at Nizhnekamskneftekhim production facilities to undergo practical training. The guys are distributed in factories and workshops. Each of them is assigned a master who is responsible for his ward throughout the practice, and also helps and monitors the performance of imputed duties. In addition to the formation of students' skills, practice allows you quickly adapting to production conditions, which also plays an important role in the process of training and mastering the profession.
Mentors help the guys to gain practical knowledge of their chosen profession. Thus, constant cooperation with the College of Petrochemistry and Oil Refining named after N.V. Lemaev allows the company to prepare the required personnel for work in skill occupations.In total, 609 college students will undergo practical training in the divisions of Nizhnekamskneftekhim in the academic year of 2019-2020.
The largest specialized exhibition of plastics and rubber "K - 2019" will be held in the territory of the Messe Dusseldorf Exhibition Center from October 16 to 23, 2019 in Düsseldorf (Germany). The leading plastic and rubber companies will take part in it, to demonstrate the whole range of goods and services of the industry.

30 Veterans of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim were able to see how the waste treatment facilities changed after the revamp, to learn how wastewater is treated and what microorganisms are for, having visited the biological treatment plants (BTP) on October 2. This visit was a peculiar kind of gift from the BTP personnel to their retired employees the on the International Day for the Elderly.
The tour of new facilities at the BTP site began with an updated building for grates intended for the reception and preliminary treatment of municipal effluents coming from City of Nizhnekamsk. About all the changes that occurred at the BTP, The Head of the Department for treatment of industrial wastewater Mikhail Romanov was giving details.
Since 2016, the company has carried out two stages of revamp to improve the quality of wastewater treatment. Those were a facility for mechanical treatment of household wastewater and a facility for treatment of industrial wastewater. New buildings and structures were built and commissioned, which allowed to improve the quality of wastewater treatment. Their main advantage is absolute tightness. Thus, the possibility of unpleasant odors getting into the atmosphere during wastewater treatment is significantly reduced.The visitors were also able to watch the work of activated sludge in aeration tanks and make sure that the water after passing through all stages of cleaning meets all the requirements. In addition, veterans examined bio filters designed to neutralize unpleasant odors thanks to special types of bacteria.

The actions of employees of PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" in the process of eliminating a conditional accident were evaluated today at tactical and special exercises. They took place on the territory of the Ist industrial zone at the BK plant as part of a two-day all-Russian large-scale civil defense exercise.
According to the scenario, at one of the facilities of the BR plant, there was a depressurization of the chlorine tank, which led to the formation of a dangerous chemical cloud. It was required to stop the spread of the chlorine cloud by water irrigation. On a training alert, firefighters, a gas rescue service, an ambulance crew and security personnel immediately arrived at the scene. The dangerous territory was taped up, each team acted quickly and smoothly.
The elimination of a conditional accident took place in several stages. At each of them, the emergency services of the company coped with all the tasks “excellently” and were highly appreciated by the representatives of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in the Republic of Tatarstan. As noted by the head of the fire and rescue garrison of Nizhnekamsk, Anton Karasev, all the services of the enterprise promptly responded and arrived at the place of the emergency response, acted properly and professionally.
PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim and Siemens Gas Turbine Technology LLC signed a Long-term Maintenance Agreement at the international forum Russian Energy Week - 2019 in Moscow.
The General Director of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim Azat Bikmurzin and the President of Siemens in Russia Alexander Liberov signed the agreement.

This agreement provides for the implementation of long-term maintenance of the main equipment of the CCGT-TPP facility under construction for PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim.

Fanis Murtazin, a Chairman of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Joint Trade Union Organization, presented to the delegates the Trade Union Performance Report for the period from October 2014 until October 2019.
More than 27 thousand people are the members of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Trade Union Organization, including company’s employees and veterans, the employees of subsidiary companies and students of basic educational institutions.
The Trade Union Organization has 11 standing commissions and 3 main commissions.
The Social and Labor relations between employer and employee are governed by the collective bargaining agreement. The last bargaining agreement was signed in January of 2018 for 3 years.
The compliance with the HSEA requirements is one of the priorities of trade union. 164 actions directed to HSEA compliance were implemented for the reporting period. As a result, 13 thousand employees, including 4 thousand women received better working conditions.
More than 6 thousand young employees are working at the plant. The Bargaining Agreement provides them career prospects and a possibility to grasp a contiguous function, acquire affordable housing, get health resort treatment and realize their creative and intellectual capacity.

Azat Bikmurzin, General Director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, reported on the operational results of company for the last five years. He mentioned key milestones of company development and operational and economic results.
General Director also mentioned the significance of employee’s health preservation. Therefore, in 2018 the Company spent 205 million rubles on analysis and medical maintenance, and 46 million rubles on health screening.
The Company management pays great attention to provision of housing to employees. For the period of housing program implementation from 2005, 3,683 employees improved their housing conditions. With the assistance of TAIF JSC, during the period form 2014-2018, the Company implemented the additional large-scale mortgage program, under which the petro chemists acquired 1,400 flats.
Also the Company administration and trade union committee take special care of the II WW veterans and war workers, and also of retirees. As mentioned Azat Bikmurzin, now the Company develops the table of events dedicated to 75 Anniversary of Victory in the Create Patriotic War for 2020. He said that Nizhnekamskneftekhim will consider each veteran and war worker.
Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District, Aydar Metshin, also mentioned in his welcoming speech that Nizhnekamskneftekhim is one of few companies, which always defends the interests of staff, and the Company is also can be an example of successful cooperation between trade union and management.

As a result of voting, Fanis Murtazin was unanimously elected Chairman of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Joint Trade Union Organization.
Deputy Chairman, Members of Trade Union Committee and Control and Revision Commission were also elected at the conference. The Participants of IX conference of Central Roskhimprofsouz Committee and the Participants of XV Summary and Electoral Trade-union Conference of the Republic of Tatarstan, and members to be elected to senior trade union bodies were determined.
The delegates also elected the members of labour disputes and social insurance commission.
On September 19, two columns were installed at grassroots SSBR production. The columns were manufactured in Bashkortostan. The columns height is 31 and 24.5 meters accordingly. Workers used 400 tons crane for the columns lifting and installation.
- The columns items C-105 and C-103 were installed at fractionation unit and unit of azeotrope drying of solvent. The first column is dedicated to solvent conditioning, and the second column – for solvent drying; further the solvent is fed into polymerization section, - said Victor Eruslanov, Head of production section, shop No.№ 6804, Grassroots SSBR.
The construction of SSBR production, located at the first industrial area, is in progress. Today, foundation works are at the finishing stage, installation of steel structures and equipment is in progress.
The grassroots industrial facility is being constructed based on modern technology and equipment that ensure no adverse effect on the environment.
According to Chief Engineer of SSBR Production, Ramzil Mukhametzyanov, they received more than 30% of necessary equipment.
Synthetic Styrene Butadiene Rubber is a raw material used in manufacturing of green tires, having excellent durability, freeze resistance and dynamic fatigue strength, and also in manufacturing of rubber technical goods and in footwear industry, in production of conveyor belt.
On September 23, the official ceremony of national awards presentation was held in the Nizhnekamsk Soviets House. The ceremony was dedicated to a City day. Aydar Metshin, Head of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District presented 23 awards. Nizhnekamskneftekhim employees received five of them.
For contribution to the development of Tatarstan chemical and petrochemical industry, long-standing and fruitful work, Elena Askarova, Instrumentation Operator, Automation Center, received the rank of “Tatarstan Honored Chemist” based on RT President Decree.
Two employees of Oligomers and Glycols Plant: Chief Engineer, Kausar Gimadeev, and fractionation section operator, Sergei Kupriyanov, and Rafis Ziganshin, repair man of Ethylene Plant received Acknowledgement of the Tatarstan President for long-standing, fruitful work and invaluable contribution to the development of petrochemical industry.
For contribution to the development of energy sector in chemical and petrochemical industry, Nikolai Medvedev, Chief Power Engineer of Plastics Plant received the rank of “Honor Power Engineer of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
